This was what I needed to read- to contemplate on this day, when everthing has been turned on its head! Thank you, Clyde!

Clydie thank you. Your words this devastating day. Your poem!!! Coming forth so solidly with your huge capacity for tenderness. I feel it. I’m sitting there with you. On this day of day of days.

Beautifully written Clyde. We are in Montana and canvassed for Tester mostly on reservations where natives are strongly democratic. Tester lost too. I asked Betsy “how do you teach about bullying when the bully wins?” She said “you teach kindness.” We met thoughtful and caring people who love the land and their families. We take comfort in that for today.

Betsy nailed it! Love to you & yours.

100% on all fronts. And this poem is so powerful — in the face of anything, but especially this. Breath is always the answer, as it spirals us into a different moment, opens our hearts, keeps us inside of living <3

Beautifully said, important to remember.
